HANDMADE POLICY

“Not meant to be pretty, but pretty useful”

-Our knives are laser cut, then ground, heat treat and finished by hand.

-We strive to manufacture the best product we can and inspect each knife before it leaves our shop. That being said, there may be minor imperfections on your handmade knife. Surface blemishes from heat treat, tiny scratches, etc are only surface blemishes and will not affect the performance of your knife.

-If an imperfection is present, it is not to be considered as a "manufacturer's defect".

WARRANTY

-DO NOT USE THE KNIFE AS A PRYBAR OR SCREWDRIVER. DO NOT USE A STEEL HAMMER TO BATON THE KNIFE. Hitting the fine knife edge to concrete or steel objects will result in damage that will void the warranty.

-Our knives have a 1 year limited warranty from the original purchasing date. The warranty covers any material or workmanship defect that prevents the product from functioning properly.

-The warranty does not cover any damage caused by improper use, wear and tear or rust. We do not accept abused knives. Please contact us first with pictures.

-The warranty does not cover the paracord handle wrap. If you would like your knife re-wrapped, please contact us for instructions. Unraveled handles are considered normal wear and tear and can be easily re-wrapped.

-Only knives purchased directly from our website are eligible.

-Sheaths are not covered by the warranty. You can purchase additional sheaths through our website if needed.

What does “hard-use knife” mean?

If you want to shave, use a razor. If you want to skin a tomato, use a kitchen knife. If you want to cut tissue paper, use scissors.

If you need to split logs, chop, pry, bang in tent stakes, dig a hole or pierce the fuselage of a plane, we make a “hard-use knife” for that.

Our knives are engineered and purpose-built to take on real-life field tasks that push the boundaries of what a cutting tool is capable of.
